Our Biblical beliefs

I believe in putting God our Heavenly Father first.
I chose Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior 23 years ago. My life at that time was a mess and I knew that I wanted a relationship with My Heavenly Father. It is a blessing to be part of God's Family, to know that I am Born Again of God's holy spirit! I am thankful each day that God called me to become His daughter. I strive to serve Him and the Household. It is a daily walk. Reading, researching and acting upon His written Word.
I believe in the manifestations of the holy spirit. Speaking in tongues, Interpretation of tongues, Prophecy, Word of wisdom, Word of knowledge, Faith, Healing, Working of miracles, Discerning of spirits. These are clearly stated in I Corinthians 12.
In my life, my daily walk, I try to be kind hearted, giving and loving. I believe in abundantly sharing...not only with money, but more importantly to me, is sharing of myself; time, resources...whatever is needed. Sometimes just lending an ear to hear or a shoulder to lean on, can mean more than money could EVER buy! Even a simply gesture as a smile to a stranger or holding open a door for some one who's arms are full. I've heard some people call these things "random acts of kindness", I call them being a loving person! I mean think about it...wouldn't you want some one to help you in a time of need?
I love to share the Glorious Word of God with others who hunger for truth and knowledge of our Heavenly Fathers plan for redemption. Being Born Again means that you have chosen to serve the One True God by accepting and believing in the completed works of His Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Your may ask yourself "but how can I remember every sin that I've done!"... Well the answer is simply; YOU CAN NOT! The statement confess means to confess the Lord Jesus. Jesus Christ as YOUR personal Lord and Savior and believe that God raised him from the dead. It is truly that simple!
I am an Ambassador for Christ holding forth the Word of Life. II Corinthians5:20
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
It is not always an easy walk, but the Word of God is my guide. As I stated above, it must be read, studied and acted upon. II Timothy 2:15
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
I Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear (respect)
The following is the Biblical account of the Resurrection of Jesus. I usually only have this section on my Easter page, but this is far to important a topic to only have availible once a year! So I have incorporated it onto this page.
God sent His only begotten Son to be our Sacrificial Lamb. Through Christ we have salvation unto the Father. Christ paid the price for our sins making available the second birth, to be born again of God's holy spirit. To be fellow heirs of the Kingdom of Heaven, to be sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father.
John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
Jesus GAVE his life for us. His life was not taken from him. John 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
It is very important to understand the time line concerning Jesus' crucifixion. Tradition teaches that Jesus was crucified on "Good Friday" and arose on Easter Sunday Morning. But HOW can that be possible?! The answer is simply this IT IS NOT POSSIBLE!
God's Word clearly states that Jesus was to be in the heart of the earth for three (3) days and three (3) nights. No matter how you try to get around it, traditional teaching is wrong!
Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
The Sabbath
The day that Jesus was crucified was the not the weekly Sabbath (Friday), but an High (holy) Day. This was a Wednesday. This was the last day of preparation for the Feast of Unleavened Bread as well as the day the Passover lamb was to be slain. Jesus was our Passover lamb! In Judaism the Sabbath begins at Sundown and ends at Sunset (the following day). No work of any kind could be done after sunset.
Jesus was crucified and died at the Ninth hour of the day (from sunrise) which is 3:00 P.M. His body needed to be in "the heart of the earth" before sunset. Jesus was buried on Wednesday afternoon after 3:00 P.M. and before sunset. Thus we have the CORRECT time line of Jesus' death and burial.
Wednesday :The 14th on Nisan
Jesus was in the tomb (sepulchre) before sunset (When the Sabbath began)
Thursday :The 15th of Nisan
The Passover meal, Special Sabbath, the High day, and the First day of Feast of Unleavened Bread.
Friday : The 16th on Nisan
At sunset the weekly Sabbath began
Saturday : The 17th on Nisan
At sunrise the weekly Sabbath ended.
Let me go over this again. Jesus died at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday and was buried before Sunset. Therefore we see that Jesus had been in the tomb for three full days and three full nights by Saturday the 17th of Nisan! Just as recorded in Matthew 12:40! How wonderfully accurate The Word of God is! The nights in the tomb are Wednesday; Thursday and Friday. The days in the tomb are Thursday; Friday and Saturday. Thus Jesus Christ had already risen Saturday after 3:00 P.M. but before sunset(*remember that the new day begins at sunset). That is why we find in the Gospels the record of the empty tomb on Sunday Morning (the First day of the week)
Luke 24: 1-6 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared and certain others with them.
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee.
According to Judean law the identification of a dead person was to be made within three days time, before decomposition would make the body unrecognizable.

Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6 and 7
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4
